Statement of Horry County Republican Party on Tuesday’s Election Results:

Tuesday was an historic election: a decisive victory with record turnout for the Republican Party. We believe Donald Trump’s decisive victory in the Presidential election was a staunch rebuke of the policies of the Biden Administration, that have held since Joe Biden upon his first day in office issued various executive orders reversing Donald Trumps’ border policies, which opened our southern border to an unprecedented and undeclared invasion, which has weakened our country, weakened our economy, and have made Americans less safe in their homes, in their schools, and in their businesses.
Americans have spoken very clearly this week: we want to be safe. We want to be secure. We want the political and economic liberty to pursue the American Dream for our families. We want to make personal parenting decisions related to our children, and not have those decisions made in the schools. And we want this great Nation to once again be the “Shining City on a Hill” Ronald Reagan famously observed. Republicans everywhere are excited. We are very thankful for Tuesday’s election results, and we pray that God will continue to bless and protect the United States of America. We look forward to working with all Americans, under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump, to help make America truly great again!
