HCGOP fundraiser
The Horry County Republican Party's first fundraiser with the new leadership team will be held on October 16th, 2023. It will be an evening of music comedy and camaraderie held at the Asher Theatre in Myrtle Beach, 3237 Waccamaw Blvd. Myrtle Beach SC 29579. Doors will open at 6 o'clock p.m., the show starts at 7 p.m. with a special guest speaker.
Tickets are $40 each and are now available to purchase.
There will be concessions to buy at the theatre like beer, wine, popcorn, candy, and nachos.

John Bree, Audrey Husdon, Cathy Farish or Mike Connett.

Dear HCGOP Members:
I wanted to provide you with an update on what’s been going on with the HCGOP over the recent weeks and share with you upcoming events: This past Monday, the HCGOP hosted a very successful 9/11 memorial service at Journey Church in Murrells Inlet. Sheriff Phillip Thompson, Horry County Police Chief Joseph Hill, and Horry County Fire Chief Joseph Tanner were our special guest speakers. The Party members and the community really came together in a very meaningful way to honor and remember the victims of 9/11 and to honor those who served. I have received many calls, texts, and emails from various members and community leaders expressing their appreciation for the Horry County GOP hosting this event and encouragement to make this an annual event. We also registered ten new members for the Horry County GOP on Monday night!
This coming Saturday, September 16 th is the annual Aynor Harvest Hoe- down. We are looking for volunteers to help with walking alongside the vehicle we have in the parade, which will include US Congressman Russell Fry. If you would like to participate, please arrive by 9:30 am at the lineup location on North Main Street and 11 th Avenue in Aynor. It’s going to be a GREAT day at the Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down and we hope to see you there!
If you are a member of the HCGOP Executive Committee, our next Executive Committee meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 2nd at 6:00 pm (registration will begin at 5:15 pm). Look for more details in the coming week about this important meeting.
On October 16th we’ll have an HCGOP fundraiser at The Asher Theater in Myrtle Beach. Our goal for this event is to sell at least 100 tickets, so we hope that you will come out and enjoy an evening of great entertainment with your family and the HCGOP. (Ticket price for this event will be $40.00 per ticket.)
October 21 st is the Loris Bogoff Festival. The PR Committee is looking for volunteers to help with the HCGOP tent. More information to come regarding this event.
